TruBend Center 5030

The TruBend Center 5030 offers panel bending technology that flexibly processes sheet metal.
“ Going far beyond the classic panel bending range, this machine can be used to bend even complex components semi-automatically. It can also process complex workpieces quickly and flexibly. Users can produce components for an array of industrial purposes and applications, from delicate shrouds up to large-scale trays,” confirmed TRUMPF.
The integrated tool-changer, ToolMaster Bend, automatically sets up the right blank holder tools. The two-axis part manipulator automatically positions the sheet metal for all bends on every component edge. An additional height axis enables components to be secured in different positions. The back gauge system positions the components. Upper blank holders then secure the blank and the back gauge fingers return to their parking position.

“ The TruLaser Cell 5030 offers a low machine-hour rate and is ideally suited to small and medium batch sizes where components are frequently changed. It comes with an energy-efficient, lowmaintenance TruDisk solid-state laser as well as a wealth of functions from the TruLaser Cell product groups. As such, it offers great flexibility for cutting and welding in equal measure,” TRUMPF told ISMR.
“ The energy-efficient, lowmaintenance TruDisk laser enables significant improvements in energy efficiency during production, without compromising on cutting speed and therefore productivity. The TruLaser Cell 5030 fits within the width of a typical hybrid system and therefore saves one third of the space that was previously required,” it continued.
The 2-in-1 LLK developed for operation with solid-state lasers makes welding and cutting possible with one laser light cable. To switch between the two processes, users need to change the processing optics and the system control adapts automatically to the laser beam.
