the resurgence of manufacturing in the U . S . Mexico and Canada as a fertile ground for growth .
“ In the Middle East and Africa , there are significant investments in infrastructure and energy projects that open new opportunities for metal fabrication and manufacturing services . In Europe , with strong regulations supporting sustainability , there is an increasing need for efficient and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes in various industries ,” he continued .
He also believes that emerging markets in Latin America that are beginning to invest in manufacturing capabilities , particularly in automotive and construction sectors , also present new avenues for growth .
“ In the Asia-Pacific region , rapid industrialisation and urbanisation ( in countries such as China and India ) drive demand for manufacturing and fabrication services ,” he added .
New product launches brake industry . This innovative line offers enhanced flexibility and precision for bending applications . These new products highlight GEKA ’ s commitment to innovation , addressing the evolving needs of modern fabricators and enhancing productivity and precision across the industry ,” announced Eneko Conde .
Leveraging new technologies
GEKA is examining and implementing technologies such as IoT ( Big Data ), robotics and artificial intelligence into its business and machinery .
“ In the ‘ Age of Digitalisation ’, data analytics is key . By collecting and analysing large volumes of production data , we can identify trends , improve process efficiencies and make data-driven decisions . Big Data analytics can optimise inventory levels and improve supplychain visibility , helping to mitigate disruptions and manage costs ,” outlined Eneko Conde .
“ Artificial intelligence ( AI ) is also used in process optimisation . AI can help to optimise cutting and bending processes by analysing production data , allowing for adjustments that enhance precision and reduce waste ,” he added .
GEKA integrates IoT ( Internet of Things ) technology into its machines , enabling realtime data collection and analysis for improved operational insights . It also incorporates robotics and automated systems in its manufacturing processes that are designed to reduce labour costs and increase precision and speed .
“ We offer flexible manufacturing systems and can adapt our machinery to handle various tasks and product types , allowing for greater customisation and responsiveness to market demands . GEKA ’ s systems are designed to work with other technologies , facilitating interoperability across production lines and supply chains which is essential for Industry- 4.0 ,” Eneko Conde concluded . n
