“ Bending from the beginning ”
Sheet-metal bending specialist , Weinbrenner , has been “ bending from the beginning ” since 1954 . With a long pedigree in bending systems , it now offers a range of bending , automation and laser-cutting products to the market .

Our production was initially focused on special bending machines but , in the light of technological developments in the sheetmetal processing industry , we formed Weinbrenner Maschinenbau GmbH to serve the international market . “ Our flagship model is the WPH Series Hybrid Press Bake with robust O-frame design . This unique design , using hybrid technology , ensures faster speeds and generates less energy consumption compared to traditional hydraulic CNC pressbrakes ,” the manufacturer continued .
With 70 years of production under its belt , Weinbrenner has honed the flexibility and precision of its systems . Its latest products and technologies have been designed with energy efficiency , higher speeds and sustainability in mind . Its portfolio includes a wide range of 100 % electric press brakes ranging from 20-130 tons .

Cutting in focus
Weinbrenner has now added fibre lasercutting machines to its product portfolio , and its new WFL range of high-power fibre laser-cutting systems for greater speed and acceleration .
“ This new linear system is designed to take advantage of high laser powers for greater speeds while cutting thin- and medium-thickness material . The laser power range starts from 6000 up to 20,000 Watts on a 1500 x 3000mm cutting table ,” outlined the manufacturer .
“ With its high strength , the low-weight gantry ensures stiffness and acceleration of up to 4.0G . High acceleration , when processing small radius arcs and sharp corners on sheet-metal material at high speeds , leads to accurate cut parts . Advanced linear motors are particularly suitable for dynamic movement where high acceleration is required over short distances ,” it added .
