Sheet-metal processing solutions

Durmazlar ( Durma ) is a global manufacturer of sheet-metal processing machinery , established in 1956 , with headquarters in Turkey . Its wide product portfolio includes laser cutting systems ; press brakes ; punch presses ; bending centres ; Smart Line solutions ; plasma-cutting machines ; guillotine shears ; plate rollers and profile bending machines .
The company also offers special sheetmetal processing solutions , autonomous and robotic technology-based smart factory configurations and various Industry 4.0 applications . As a founder member of Turkey ’ s Industry-4.0 platform , Durma designs machines that can communicate with each other through customised cloud technology , designed in-house .
At this year ’ s Blechexpo exhibition in Stuttgart , Germany ( 7-10 November 2023 ), visitors can meet Durma on its stand 1807 in Hall 1 . The manufacturer will be showcasing its range of systems and smart factory projects , including automation technologies , at the show . It will highlight its 4kW and 30kW fibre laser cutting systems ; 8m laser tube and systems ; robot automation AD- SERVO 30220 press brake ; energy-efficient and cobot automation AD-ES 2040 pressbrake and its PB4 Bending Centres .

Robotic systems at Blechexpo

Dutch automation specialist , Teqram , will demonstrate its autonomous robotic systems at Blechexpo in Stuttgart , Germany ( 7-10 November 2023 ). In addition to loading and unloading deburring and shot blasting machines , Teqram will be showing its EasyGrinder grinding robot and the EasyFlipper for turning heavy parts . Meet Teqram in Hall 5 on stand 5302 at the exhibition .
The manufacturer also offers solutions for loading and unloading levelling machines , rotary tables and continuous shot blasting systems , milling machines and a robot solution for grinding oxy-fuel and plasma-cut workpieces .
Robotic deburring system
Dreeskornfeld GmbH & Co . KG , a mediumsized company specialising in flexible sheetmetal processing , faced the challenge of manually loading and unloading deburring machines , which is not only labour-intensive but also time-consuming and physically demanding . To address this issue and improve its working conditions while saving costs , it decided to invest in the Teqram EasyDebur robot to automate the deburring process .
Heinz Dreeskornfeld GmbH & Co . KG
operates 11 flatbed lasers and two punch / laser combination machines at its Bielefeld site in Germany . With a workforce of 108 employees , it processes 60-70 tons of sheet metal every day , primarily serving the agricultural and conveyor technology , vehicle and plant construction , and mechanical sectors .
Traditionally , Dreeskornfeld manually placed the sheet metal parts on the conveyor belt for deburring . However , due to the shortage of skilled workers , it needed an automated solution to expand deburring capacity . Teqram ’ s robot systems , using vision systems and an AI-based controller , operate completely autonomously , without time-consuming programming or teaching .
“ After pressing the start button , the EasyDebur scans the pallets with the parts in the entrance area . The EasyEye , in combination with 3D vision sensors in the gripper , recognizes pallets , stacks and individual part geometries based on the scanned data . CAD data does not have to be transferred . The system autonomously decides which grippers are suitable for each component and switches them in independently . The software also ensures that the number of gripper changes is minimised . machine . If , for example , there are traffic jams due to a machine error , the loading process is automatically slowed or stopped ,” commented Teqram .
The EasyDebur is a configuration of the Teqram modular system that is specifically tailored for deburring machines . Various configuration options are possible depending upon the deburring machine , production volume , part dimensions , deburring processes and available space .
In a one-robot configuration with a 180-degree turn , the dimensions of the sheet-metal parts are limited . Dreeskornfeld therefore decided on a two-robot solution able to automatically process parts of up to two metres long . A significant additional benefit for Dreeskornfeld is the increase in production output . n
