It offers a long bed hydraulic folder ( 13-foot sheet-metal folder ) with a 145-degree bending apron , a beam-mounted slitter , a hydraulic valve stack ; spring steel back gauge fingers and rotating back gauge fingers . Machine design allows open hem , closed hem and teardrop hems . Two-stage hydraulics combine fast cycling with soft starts and stops for reduced wear and tear on folder and operator . Two-position back gauges minimize travel time . An optional stop can be used to create tapered sections .
Bradbury Folders come with free firmware downloads from Beck Automation and controllers with optional office-to-folder download capability .
The two-position back gauge increases machine flexibility and can be moved to any location along the length of the folder .
A safety stop for the upper jaw can be programmed according to local regulations and a full-length emergency kick rail provides e-stop and lock shutdown . Emergency stop foot pedals are supplied for each of two operators . Other safety features are also incorporated into the equipment .

An automated line , incorporating a Thalmann double folder , will be showcased on CIDAN ’ s stand at the EuroBLECH 2022 exhibition . The line will also feature the CIDAN FORMA Z folder ( with nuLINK bending software ); new Evolution IT production management software and an automatic slitting line from Forstner ( where users can switch between six different coil types ). The FORMA Z Up / Down folder , for mid-range and large batchwork , now boasts a 30 % improvement in speed .
CIDAN ’ s PRO Z up-down metal folding machine for industrial applications is designed mainly for folding complex profiles and heavy material . The CIDAN MEGAPRO folder has many intelligent functions such as automatic adjustment of sheet thickness , folding centre and crowning . It also has an automatic tool locking-system as a standard feature . Other models include the Pro ; FX Plus ( equipped with automatic sheet thickness and bend centre adjustment ); FS / FX , FX Combi and the F folder ( with extra strong lower beam and clamping beam plus a 150mm opening height ).
Erbend Makine , which manufactures different types and models of manual and CNC sheet-metal folders , as well as shears , is based in Bursa ( Turkey ).
