Automation in focus
The compact Flexible Manufacturing System PSBB integrates punching , shearing , buffering and bending processes in a single solution .
Prima Power , at the EuroBLECH sheet metal exhibition ( 25-28 October 2022 ), invites visitors to make a journey “ towards the future of manufacturing “ starting from its 1,400- square metre stand ( B146 in Hall 12 )” where its latest automated , integrated and digitalised sheet-metal fabrication solutions will be showcased .
Punching and bending
Its compact Flexible Manufacturing System , PSBB , highly automated manufacturing line will be showcased at EuroBLECH . The line integrates punching , shearing , buffering and bending processes in a single solution . It comes with the new Shear Brilliance ® combined punching and shearing system , with servo-electric technology and linear drives , and the latest version of the EBe panel bender .
“ Leveraging decades of experience in
FMS technology , the PSBB line automatically processes blank sheets into ready-bent , highquality components . It offers high productivity , accuracy and efficiency utilising servo-electric technology for punching , shearing and bending ; automatic flexible material flow and sophisticated software . The PSBB line is designed for the production of square parts and panels and can therefore be used in , for example , HVAC , door and elevator panel manufacturing ,” Prima Power told ISMR .
“ The advantages of modern servo-electric technology are low energy consumption and low maintenance requirements , as well as accuracy and versatility . Modularity enables fast , high-precision manufacturing of components that also require forming – even bending – tapping and marking in a single , flexible cell and a fully automatic process . Finally , by its very nature , the integrated punching-shearing concept can bring savings from 10-20 % in raw material consumption .
Even greater savings can be achieved using the optional cut-to-length line ,” added the Italian sheet-metal specialist .
Included in the PSBB line at EuroBLECH will be the EBe2720 fully automatic servoelectric panel bender . It is equipped with a PCD picking and centring device , a multifunctional table for the positioning and centring of parts , which allows the flow of material from other machines in line . The BTD bend and turning device automatically turns over the sheet metal in masked time before the bending process .
Automated laser cutting
For flexible automatic laser cutting , Prima Power will display the Laser Genius + with the Combo Tower Laser storage system and the picking and stacking robot , PSR 2D , at EuroBLECH in Hanover .
