Within five years electric cars can be fossil free .
There is more to this than meets the eye . Electric cars have zero emissions , but they are made of steel . For every tonne of steel produced in the world , almost two tonnes of CO 2 are emitted as well . One car might not make much of a difference . But think of all the cars across the globe . All the wind turbines . All the trains .
