Boschert GmbH & Co KG celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2021 . Founded in 1946 as a small workshop for the textile industry , today it builds a wide range of sheet-metalworking equipment . This includes notching ; punching ; small and mid-sized press-brake bending systems ; plasma ; laser ; combined punching / plasma / fibre laser and copper processing machines . It also builds special machines to meet specific customer requirements .
Based in Lörrach ( near Freiburg , Germany ), Boschert employs 120 members of staff . It recently made significant investments to expand its production line and has put in place key partnerships with European machine-tool manufacturers . This includes a joint venture company in a new factory with Greek manufacturer , Gizelis SA , particularly on press brakes and a new partnership with Greek producer , Steelburner , on fibre laser cutting systems .
At the EuroBLECH sheet metal exhibition in Hanover , Germany , from 22-25 October 2024 , it showcased some of its latest new machines and systems . For the first time at EuroBLECH in Hanover , we are showcasing the new control for our combined fibre laser and punching machine ( Combi-Laser )
Boschert promoted the Hyperion Q fibre laser from Steelburner on its stand at EuroBLECH 2024 .
ISMR : What are you showcasing on your booth here at EuroBLECH ?
PS : For the first time at EuroBLECH in Hanover , we are showcasing the new control for our combined fibre laser and punching machine ( Combi-Laser ). We will deliver the first machines featuring this new control to our customers by the end of this year .
I am also delighted to confirm here , for the first time in Hanover , that ( for markets in Germany , Austria , Switzerland and France ), we will now offer the fibre laser from Steelburner as an addition to the press brakes and shears from Boschert and Gizelis . As well as sales , we will also provide after-sales service , warranty , training etc . We started selling these last year and are showing the system here in Hanover for the first time .
