Enquiries At EuroBLECH 2024 in Hanover , Germany ( 22-25 October 2024 ), Swedish press specialist , AP & T , introduced its latest innovation , AP & T ® SkyLines . It has been designed as a compact and efficient presshardening line , specially developed to handle large and complex components .
“ The industry is increasingly moving towards sustainability and energy efficiency , and the new AP & T ® SkyLines clearly meets the market ’ s requirements . This new line combines precision with short cycle times , making it attractive to customers looking to improve both efficiency and quality in their production . With our broad range of services , SkyLines also provides high performance over time , which creates long-term business value for our customers ,” commented Dr . Christian Koroschetz , Head of Products and Marketing , AP & T .
In connection with the launch of SkyLines , AP & T also held its own seminars on its booth at EuroBLECH for the first time . The seminars , which attracted physical and digital participants , were led by AP & T specialists and included industry stalwarts from companies such as ArcelorMittal , GEDIA and fischer Group . Together , they shared insights on presshardening , hot forming of high-strength aluminium and various sustainable solutions for the future .
“ These seminars offered a valuable platform to discuss forthcoming production challenges and technological advances in sustainability and energy efficiency ,” explained AP & T .
“ We couldn ’ t be more pleased about the positive response we received and all the new contacts we made . Our focus
on sustainable production and quality solutions is really in line with the needs of the industry ,” concluded Dr . Christian Koroschetz .
AP & T celebrates sixty years in operation this year . Tool manufacturer , VIBAB , was founded in Blidsberg in 1964 . Lagan Press began to manufacture presses in Lagan the same year , and Tranemo Hydraulmaskiner was formed in 1970 . In 1989 , these three companies merged under the name AP & T ( Automation , Presses & Tooling ) and set their sights on the international market . n
