“ With this straightener you can decrease your energy consumption by 30 % -40 % compared to traditional machine types ( hydraulic , mechanical etc .). The range spans a minimum width of 200mm up to a maximum width of 2000mm ,” commented the manufacturer .
“ We worked very closely on this new straightener-feeder unit with the enduser . We incorporated its feedback and suggestions into the system design and built various test models until we perfected the final configuration ,” it added .
Electronic straightener-feederunits , via the open upper head , enable cleaning of the rolls making the material easier to introduce and allowing material release for the pilot centring ( especially useful for greater material thicknesses ).
