SteelFab 2023 show insights

SteelFab has increased its focus on several industrial segments in the manufacturing industry and topics such as AI & Robotics ( a recent addition to its core focus areas ) are key attractions at the event .
“ Visitors can [ interact with ] over 250 exhibitors from 35 countries displaying over 600 brands . We look forward to attracting over 7,000 trade visitors from 65 countries . The trade show will also feature the ‘ Best- Welder @ SteelFab ’ competition as well as a huge live display of the latest welding and cutting machinery / equipment ; a hosted buyers programme and an online B2B matchmaking platform along with the 8th edition of Fasteners World Middle East ,” explained the show organiser .
Country pavilions ; live machinery displays / demonstrations and a dedicated vertical for the fastener and fixing industry ( Fasteners World Middle East ) are key features of next January ’ s event . The show ’ s visitor footprint extends across the entire GCC , Middle East , North Africa , Indian sub-continent and Central Asian region . Entry is free to trade visitors and there is free parking at the venue .

“ According to the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology figures , the UAE has managed to increase the industrial sector ’ s contribution to national gross domestic product to US $ 50 billion , a 38 % increase from 2020 . Multiple foreign consultancies and financial agencies ( including the International Monetary Fund ) has projected the UAE to emerge as the best performing economy in the GCC in 2024 , which augurs well for the industry ,” added the show organiser .
An eye on welding
SteelFab , with ESAB and the Middle East Industrial Training Institute ( MEITI ), will present the third edition of the “ BestWelder @ SteelFab ” competition at SteelFab 2024 . The competition will be held from 8-11 January 2024 at Expo Centre Sharjah , UAE .
Welding industry professionals from the region will showcase their welding skills and compete to win this title . Space is limited so the show organiser urges candidates / participants to register as quickly as possible . The submission deadline is 15 December 2023 .
