I think we will stay on track with order income this year and have a better year than last year ,” he added .
He confirmed that Boschert ’ s biggest growth market is the ‘ electrical / industrial ’ sector where it sells its busbar punching machines . With the move to electro-mobility , demand is very high in this area . He predicts that it will remain strong over the next few years .
“ In terms of markets , Russia has become a ghost market . This has also affected some eastern European markets . The next few years will be interesting for North African markets . We have sold many machines in Algeria , for example , and have a strong partner there . These markets will have to take steps , as the Middle East has done , to become independent from oil but also to put in the correct infrastructure for diversification . So , there will

be many interesting future projects in this region and it is an additional growth market that we see ,” explained Philipp Schöchlin .
Examples of some of the special projects it has undertaken with customers include one , on the 4020 , to assess the number and size of sheets being processed to help a customer save time and increase productivity .
“ We also ran a project with a customer in Switzerland where we created a special loading unit for one of their machines that connected to a folder in their production line . We only have 120 employees but we punch very much above our weight in creativity and output ,” concluded Schöchlin . n
