At this year ’ s EuroBLECH exhibition in Hanover , DALLAN ’ s CEO unveiled its latest products , new initiatives and 2023 plans to ISMR .
For more than forty years , DALLAN SpA has been designing , producing and installing advanced systems to manufacture products from steel coil , including punching machines , rollformers , laser-cutting and packaging machines . The family-owned company operates worldwide on all five continents across 83 countries . Its machinery is used in the manufacture of profiles for applications in sectors such as interior finishing ( false ceilings ); sun shading ( Venetian blinds and roller shutters ); HVAC ( heating , ventilation and air conditioning ); metal furniture and lighting , amongst others .
The Northern Italian manufacturer ’ s specialisation in pre-painted and pre-finished materials means that it can study and create , with its customers , tailor-made equipment for manufacturing punched and folded sheet metal products . This equipment is supplied complete with assembly and packaging systems , and Dallan continues to innovate in coil-processing and rollforming markets .
The company will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2023 . At this year ’ s EuroBLECH exhibition in Hanover , Germany , its CEO , Andrea Dallan , unveiled its latest products , new initiatives and 2023 plans to ISMR .
ISMR : What are you promoting here on your booth at EuroBLECH in Hanover , Germany ?
Andrea Dallan ( AD ): This year , we have a lot of technologies to present . Over the past few years , we have focused on the topic of efficiency so here , at EuroBLECH , we wanted to provide tools that really put efficiency in focus .
We are well known for roll forming thin sheet metal . However , we are presenting technology here at EuroBLECH for coil-fed punching which we are convinced has been a little overlooked over the past few years . In fact , our experience with this technology has been very successful because it enables manufacturers to generate huge savings in raw materials . Raw material prices have been rising so we have received a lot of requests from companies who want to make better use of the material that they buy . This has moved the focus of the market onto coil-fed punching and laser cutting .
At the last EuroBLECH show , we showcased our laser-cutting machine from coil and , at this event , we wanted to highlight the new DALLAN EXN coil-fed punching machine . We have redesigned it from scratch and have cooperated with Siemens in Germany to develop the first EXN coil-fed punching machine with Siemens drives , controls and motors . Here , on the stand , you can see the new servo-electric DALLAN EXN with Siemens controls .
