EuroBLECH 2022 in Hanover ( 25-28 October 2022 ) was AIDA ’ s opportunity to provide visitors with information about its new DSF-NE2 servo press as well as the AIDA press line series ( including servo presses , high-speed automatic presses for lamination and precision forming presses ). AIDA ’ s DSF-TE4 servo transfer presses ( double-column split presses designed for transfer applications ) offer high levels of customisation through multiple configurations .
“ Our new 400-ton DSF-NE2 monolithic servo press line received a ‘ Product of the Year ’ award , in the metalforming and punching category , at the EuroBLECH 2022 Awards . Our engineering team has just completed a 630-ton larger version of this press and we will continue developing this line of presses ,” Dr . Michele Archenti , AIDA Europe ’ s sales and marketing manager , confirmed to ISMR .
“ During the pandemic , we developed a lot of software applications and launched this new product line of monoblock presses — the smallest press we had manufactured in Italy up to then . We are customer- and market-driven so , at the start of the pandemic , we developed this press for a specific customer and , since then , have sold several units of this very successful press range ,” he added .
During the exhibition , AIDA also presented its new AET electronic transfer system , an after-market solution which enables handling of blanks and parts in multi-station or interconnected presses .
“ AETs can be easily integrated with all types of mechanical and servo presses , from any manufacturer , and are perfectly suitable for retrofitting operations on existing machines ,” AIDA highlighted .
