Management changes in force at BENTELER Group

The BENTELER Group has streamlined its corporate governance. Casper Benteler has now assumed control of the BENTELER Group, which was previously held by Hubertus Benteler Ges. m. b. H., Salzburg, and Dr. Ing. E. h. Helmut Benteler GmbH, Paderborn. The details of the transaction are private.
BENTELER is a global group of companies serving customers in automotive technology, the energy sector and mechanical engineering. It specialises in metal processing. In the 2025 financial year, Group revenues were around € 8 billion.
Casper Benteler is the son of long-serving CEO, Hubertus Benteler, and represents the fifth generation of the entrepreneurial family. Founded in 1876 by Carl Benteler, the BENTELER Group today employs more than 20,000 employees at around 90 locations worldwide.

The International Aluminium Institute( IAI) has appointed Jonathan Grant as its new Secretary General, succeeding Miles Prosser. Grant has now assumed the role and will lead the Institute at a time when aluminium is playing an increasingly important part in the global energy transition and the shift to a more resource-efficient economy.
With a career spanning industry, sustainability and international collaboration, Grant brings experience from organisations including IPIECA, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the International Council on Mining and Metals and the International Emissions Trading Association, as well as roles at Chevron, PwC and Rio Tinto. n new holding company of the BENTELER Group. On 13 April 2026, the company announced that Thomas Glynn will become the new chief financial officer( CFO) of the BENTELER Group. In this role, he will also serve as managing director of BENTELER International Austria GmbH, the Group’ s holding company, and will join CEO, Ralf Göttel, on the BENTELER Group Executive Board. Glynn will succeed Dr. Tobias Braun, who will leave the company at his own request and by mutual agreement to pursue new professional challenges. n

Stuart Whitehouse takes the helm at The Regent Engineering( Walsall) Co.
Regent Engineering starts new chapter
Stuart Whitehouse has been appointed managing director of UK precision engineering form, Regent Engineering Co( Walsall) Ltd, succeeding long-serving directors, Alan and John Shaw. The company’ s roots stretch back to 1941. Founded by Arthur Shaw, it has grown from a local toolmaking operation into a supplier of pressings, welded assemblies and fabricated products serving UK and European markets.
Today, the ISO 9001-accredited company employs around 30 people and offers inhouse capability spanning pressings from 50-750 tonnes, MIG and TIG welding in aluminium and stainless steel, laser cutting and powder coating of fabrications up to four tonnes. Additional accreditations, including EN 1090 and TÜV, reinforce its position as a manufacturing partner.
Whitehouse’ s career includes senior roles at Joseph Ash Galvanizing, where he served as group managing director, as well as general manager at Elta. He has a strong track record in operational improvement, multi-site leadership and strategic growth, alongside more recent experience through his own venture, SJW Business Coaching Limited.
