Intermac ( part of the Biesse Group ) offers its Primus range of waterjet-cutting systems . The five-axis cutting head is fitted with the patented Intermac infinite rotating C-axis system for making tilted cuts (+/ -60 °) on complex profiles , with no limits . This system , says Intermac , eliminates the errors due to rotating axis reverse clearance in traditional methods , and also guarantees a constant supply of abrasive material .
Jet Edge , Inc . manufactures complete systems for precision waterjet cutting , mobile waterjet cutting and UHP cleaning and surface preparation applications , as well as accessories . Models include the Edge X-3 mid-rail gantry waterjet , the Edge X-5 five-axis , mid-rail waterjet and the Edge dual-carriage , mid-rail waterjet with Aquavision DI controller . Its JetStart series waterjets feature HERO 50 intensifier pumps . Its Edge X3-HR ( three-axis , high-rail waterjet ) and Edge X5-HR ( five-axis , high-rail waterjet ) also feature the Aquavision DI controller .
It also offers a wide range of waterjet pumps , including hydraulic intensifier pumps and direct-drive pumps .
Jet Star International Ltd . is a European supplier of waterjet products such as garnet abrasive and spare parts designed for all types of waterjet machines .
Kerf Developments offers the Optima range of waterjet cutting machines . The Optima waterjet series has the option of a 3- , 4- or 5-axis cutting head . It is offered with an X-axis of 2- , 3- or 4m and a Y-axis span of 1- , 2- , 4- or 6m with bespoke dimensions available upon request . The Z-axis stroke enables cutting of material up to 180mm thick with precision levels of 0.1mm . The Optima 320 twin-head system cuts materials of up to 125mm thick with a cutting envelope of 3m x 2m .
The machines come with single or multiple cutting heads that feature automatic height adjustment , including anti-collision systems , and offer a range of optional extra items such as dual cutting heads using a spacer bar , dual independent heads , a rotary tilting head and GRS abrasive removal systems .
Kimtech Waterjet Machines offers three XY ( small , medium and large ) waterjet machines that cover most areas of application , as well as fully customised machines . The Swedish manufacturer has delivered over 300 waterjet-
cutting machines since start of production over 40 years ago . Its XY range of machines features abrasive waterjet cutting and comes with a variety of accessories .
KMT Waterjet celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021 . It specialises in the design and manufacture of waterjet-cutting pumps and technology , and specifically ultra-highpressure (‘ UHP ’) pump technology with water pressurised up to 90,000 PSI / 6.200 bar . Its line of waterjet intensifier pumps , pure water only or abrasive waterjet cutting nozzles , abrasive management systems and waterjet parts / components are integrated with OEM waterjet machines . With its STREAMLINE models , the company incorporates IoT technology into its portfolio .

MicroStep ’ s AquaCut technology .
Metallbau Müller GmbH ( MBM ) has developed a combination of abrasive sludge suction and cutting water treatment , which is also suitable for smaller waterjet cutters and complies , it told ISMR , with European wastewater introduction regulations .
MicroStep , a manufacturer of CNCcontrolled cutting systems , celebrated its thirty-year anniversary in 2021 . The company develops and produces plasma , oxyfuel , laser and waterjet cutting systems . Its waterjet cutters include the AquaCut and WaterCut series . It also offers tested automation solutions , from material handling around the cutting system to picking and sorting of cut parts .
Muototerä produces FinJet waterjet-cutting machines as well as the new Tamcut waterjetcutting system with 2000 bar direct-drive highpressure pump . It also supplies high-pressure pumps , garnet abrasive and spare parts . The company is based in Tampere , Finland .
OMAX ® Corporation is a manufacturer of rapid multi-axis abrasive waterjet systems , cutting 2D and 3D parts from a range of materials and thicknesses . Exemplified by the OMAX , OptiMAX ; MAXIEM ®, GlobalMAX ®, MicroMAX and ProtoMAX ® brands , the company designs waterjet systems with intuitive software , direct-drive pump technology and accessories .
