Dust extraction
Dustcontrol UK is set to exhibit its construction dust extractors and factory-fitted centralised dust extraction equipment at the Safety & Health Expo 2022 . Taking place from 17-19 May 2022 at the ExCeL , London ( UK ), the Dustcontrol team will be showcasing the firm ’ s industrial H-Class dust extractors and air cleaners on stand SH2660 .
“ The DC Tromb 400 is our most powerful single-phase dust extractor and is designed to meet modern safety requirements and work in conjunction with tools that have become even more efficient on today ’ s construction sites . The maximum airflow is as high as 400 m ³/ h , which is more than enough capacity for equipment such as floor grinders , with a working width of 500mm , and large electric cut-off saws . It is also easy to transport around construction sites , move in stairwells and lift into tight spaces , while the wheels are puncture-proof and lockable for working on uneven ground . Bag replacement is easy and its HEPA H13 filter offers optimum quality , containment and performance ,” said the manufacturer .
Dustcontrol UK will also be showcasing its centralised vacuum equipment , including HEPA-filtered , ATEXrated and cyclone-based dust extractors , suitable for industrial cleaning requirements . The Dustcontrol team will demonstrate how its machines can capture and extract different kinds of particles and pollutants with high levels of filtration to achieve better results .

Stamping its authority
The new ‘ Stamping Practice ’ reference book is an excerpt from the reference book ‘ Stanztechnik ’ and is available in English for the first time .
In close cooperation between Prof . Dr . -Ing . Matthias Kolbe ( the Swiss manufacturer of Bruderer automatic stamping presses ) and the German specialist for optical technologies , Jenoptik , the English-language reference book is now available from Springer Vieweg Publishers .
“ The German reference book , ‘ Stanztechnik ’ has been an essential tool for professionals in stamping technology for over 50 years . Scanning reflective surfaces
The scanning spray , AESUB green , has been specially developed for matting large surface areas . Using a spray gun , the spray is applied to large-sized , shiny surfaces of , for example , car bodies , aircraft fuselages or the sides of boats .
In a few seconds , a matt , white , homogenous layer with a thickness of approx . 10-20μm can be generated . Reference points adhere to the touch-dry , sprayed layer . After six hours , the applied layer sublimates automatically and the surfaces do not have to be cleaned .
“ Because AESUB green is provided in the form of containers , the spray gun can be quickly refilled . AESUB green does not contain any pigments or titanium dioxide , meaning it poses no risk to health ,” explained the manufacturer . ■
