The world premiere of the Audi Q4 e-tron was on 14 April 2021 .
In 2021 , Audi ’ s electric offensive gained further momentum with the recent launch of the Audi Q4 e-tron . Its toolmaking team translated the designers ’ visions into reality .

Striking lines , smooth surfaces and eyecatching quattro blisters – with its Q4 e-tron , Audi is taking the next step in the evolution of its electric models ’ design language . The compact SUV brings the lines that the Audi Q4 concept demo car introduced at the beginning of 2019 to a production model . The world premiere of the Audi Q4 e-tron took place on 14 April 2021 .
“ In 2021 , the electric offensive is gaining further momentum at Audi . For the first time , more than half of all models newly launched in one year are electric . In this way , we are more than doubling the number of our all-electric models , from three to seven ,” explained Markus Duesmann , CEO of AUDI AG , at the official launch of the Audi Q4 e-tron . “ Sustainability is of key importance for us , beyond the power source . That is why we wish to compensate for total CO 2 emissions resulting from the manufacture of the Q4 e-tron models . This means that all vehicles are to be delivered to our customers with a neutral carbon balance sheet .”
The Q4 e-tron combines a ‘ sporty and progressive character ’ with SUV design . The spacious interior provides the option of a large augmented-reality , head-up display for an ‘ innovative driving experience ’. Audi ’ s toolmaking team translates the designers ’ ideas into production and their emotion into sheet metal with precision . Precision down to a thousandth of a millimetre when designing and building the tools is why toolmaking plays such a crucial role in Audi ’ s high standards of quality .

“ Whether viewed from the front , side or rear , the Q4 e-tron captivates onlookers from every angle thanks to its expressive SUV design . The side panel of the coupe derivative , which brings the lines of the July 2020 demo car into a production model , is a prime example of just how complex the vehicle is to manufacture ,” said Audi .
