Folding and shearing advances

With the TURBO2plus Compact, RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau has enhanced its folding machine with a key technology advance: the new XXL folding beam.
“ The compact machine is designed for roofing, facade and sheet metal applications, combining high bending performance with a space-saving solution. Developed as a compact solution for workshops with limited floor space, the TURBO2plus Compact is available in bending lengths of 2,540mm, 3,200mm or 4,060mm. It is ideally suited for roofing and facade cladding, sign making and general sheet metal fabrication,” it told ISMR.
The new XXL folding beam provides extended free space of up to 5mm behind the bending line, allowing increased flexibility when users form complex part geometries. In this configuration, sheet thicknesses of up to 2mm can be processed.
“ The system is complemented by the 14mm Crown Tool with adjustable crowning, ensuring consistent and high-quality bending results across the entire working length. Users benefit from improved precision and process reliability particularly when producing roof flashings, facade elements and window profiles. The TURBO2plus
Compact is a powerful and flexible solution for precision bending operations in the sheetmetal industry,” added the manufacturer.
Revised PRIMEcut 53.40-3
The RAS sheet metal shear is now also available in a 4m version.
With its revised PRIMEcut 53.40-3, RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau has now expanded its shear range with a version that offers a working length of 4,150mm. The company is responding to the growing demand for precise and surface-protecting cuts, particularly in roofing and facade construction as well as in general sheetmetal fabrication.
“ The machine operates with advanced swing-beam cutting technology, enabling dimensionally accurate blanks and exceptionally straight cutting edges. The low cutting angle ensures torsion-free results, even when processing sensitive materials. Long blade service life further enhances cost-efficiency in daily operation,” explained the company.
Cut parts can be sorted during the cutting process, either to the front or to the rear. An integrated sheet support system is designed to improve material flow and reduce manpower requirements during handling.
“ In the new 4m version, sheet thicknesses of up to 2mm can be cut safely. The updated PRIMEcut incorporates several new details that improve safety and quality. These include brighter LED cutting area lighting with integrated finger protection. A pop-up, hold-down system enables particularly surface-friendly processing and reduces pressure marks on sensitive materials,” added RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau.
A new squaring arm with digital display is designed for quick and easy measurement reading. Additional flexibility is offered by laterally adjustable table elements with height adjusted to 3mm, allowing adaptation to various application requirements. n
