Tube bending and inspection
AMOB will present a fully integrated tubebending and inspection workflow at MACH 2026 from 20 – 24 April 2026 at the NEC, Birmingham( UK).
“ On stand 6-170, directly at the entrance to Hall 6 opposite the registration area, our exhibit will feature two all-electric CNC tubebending machines operating live throughout the show, alongside on-stand tube measurement and inspection using Hexagon systems,” said AMOB UK.
The live demonstrations will centre on the eMOB-100 and eMOB-52-2bend electric tube benders. The eMOB-100, with a maximum tube capacity of ∅100mm, will be shown in a multi-stack, variable-radius configuration, demonstrating bending for demanding applications. The eMOB-52- 2bend will showcase AMOB’ s dual-head bending capability for tube of up to ∅52mm, allowing complex multi-radius parts to be produced in a single set-up.
“ Both machines will be bending tube live, allowing visitors to see real-world production rather than static displays or simulated demonstrations,” confirmed AMOB UK.
Integrated bending operations
A key feature of the stand will be the integration of the bending machines with Hexagon tube inspection and portable measurement systems.
“ Real bent parts produced on the eMOB machines will be measured on the stand, illustrating a practical closedloop workflow where tube geometry can be verified immediately and adjustments made. Visitors will also be able to handle the inspection equipment themselves and see how measurement data supports faster set-up, first-time accuracy and consistent repeatability,” continued AMOB UK.
The AMOB Group’ s approach reflects its focus on complete process control. In addition to machine design and manufacture, the company also designs and manufactures its tube bending tooling in-house.
“ This vertical integration enables tighter alignment between machine, tooling and application requirements, helping manufacturers to reduce lead times and maintain consistent bending quality across different materials and batch sizes,” it told ISMR.

The systems to be displayed at MACH 2026 are used across a wide range of sectors including automotive; aerospace; subcontract tube bending and general fabrication. The live demonstrations at MACH will focus on applications where accuracy, repeatability and process stability are critical.
“ By running both machines live and inspecting real parts on the stand, we will show how bending and measurement work together in practice( not as a concept). For manufacturers working to tight tolerances, especially in automotive and aerospace [ sectors ], this kind of integrated workflow is increasingly important,” outlined Tom Wood, Managing Director, AMOB UK.
Reflecting on MACH
Tom Wood outlined that MACH provides“ an ideal platform to speak directly with engineers and production managers about real applications, rather than theoretical capability.”
Visitors to stand 6-170 will be able to speak with AMOB UK’ s technical and service team throughout the show( including project and service specialists) to discuss machine capability, tooling design and inspection workflows in detail.
“ Our presence at MACH 2026 builds on the incredible momentum of our last appearance at the show. MACH 2024 was a landmark event for AMOB UK, marked by a record number of visitors to our stand and a high level of interest in our bespoke tooling and sustainable all-electric solutions. It was a week filled with insightful conversations, new partnerships and the successful sale of several showroom models right off the floor,” concluded AMOB UK.
AMOB provides a range of specialised equipment for the tube and pipe bending industry worldwide. Solutions range from simple machinery to complex fully electric CNC powered systems. n
