Stamping ‘ first ’ at MACH 2024
“ A ‘ UK first ’ will take place from 15-19 April when we run our BSTL 350-88 live at MACH 2024 ,” Bruderer UK told ISMR recently . The manufacturer of high-speed presses will set-up a full production line on stand 6-482 to showcase the machine ’ s capability for the volume production of small and miniature components .
“ The BSTL comes into its own for precision and continuity and uses up to 30 % less energy when compared to older machine models . For the first time at a major exhibition , a turnkey line will be set up with a state-of-the-art pallet decoiler and winder with purposebuilt ‘ MACH ’ tooling set to produce commemorative giveaways for visitors to the stand ,” it continued .

Laser cutting quote software

ToolBox , by Tempus Tools , is cloud-based , laser cutting quote software developed specifically for the laser cutting industry .
“ It is designed to save job shops time and make quoting accurate , consistent and more efficient . Laser cutting machinery is highly specialised and the software that provides quotes should be too ,” the manufacturer told ISMR .
A typical workflow for a job shop using spreadsheets is for them to receive a DXF drawing and request from a customer , load this into a CAM system and have the CAM operator calculate the machine time which is then entered into the spreadsheet to calculate the price . This is often exported into an accounting program or other desktop application to develop a professional quote .
