AMOB offers a comprehensive range of tube bending machines . Its right and left fully electric CNC tube bender eMOB series processes tube from 6mm up to 42mm OD and has multi-stack capability . Machines are divided into two different concepts ; eMOB 2Bend series which changes bending direction using a rotative head and the eMOB LR Series which positions automatically and in cycle in a right and left bending configuration .

BLM Group has announced the availability of its ELECT40 all-electric tube bender with an elongated , compact head “ capable of executing shapes previously not possible with single-direction bending machines ,” it told ISMR . The new bending head is reduced in height by 35 % and has a 31 % longer bending head , increasing the distance between the bending tool and the machine body .
“ The increase in distance reduces the chances of the tube colliding with the frame , providing greater parts feasibility . It is especially well-suited for manufacturers needing to bend tubes into complicated and various shapes such as those making furniture , ladders , handrails , farming machinery and equipment ,” it added .
The ELECT40 can bend tube and pipe up to 40mm in diameter and has multiple tool stack capability that can accommodate multiple tools of variable radius at the same time , enabling the production of fixed and variable radii in a single set-up .
BLM has developed its LT8.20 lasertube system range for 3D laser cutting tubes and profiles of any section up to 240mm in diameter , and up to 12.5m in length , with a maximum unload length of 8.5m with tube weight of up to 40kg / m . It can also be specified with either a 3.5kW CO₂ or 3 or 4kW fibre laser source , delivered through a 3D tilt cutting head . To the automatic unloading system , available in different lengths , LT8.20 added different loading solutions : single bar loader , step-by-step loader and bundle loader , freely set on both sides of the machine . It also offers its own Artube software .
Other BLM models include the E-Turn for in-process right-handed and left-handed bending , with fixed or variable radius , in single or multiple radius mode , for tube , pipe and profile bending . The E-TURN has different sizes for tubes of diameters up to 50.8mm .
Bystronic ’ s tube processing division has introduced the ByTube Star 130 , a high-end tube laser cutting system with fully automatic set-up for open profiles and ellipses , ensuring greater flexibility and quality in production . It is available in two power levels , two or three kilowatts .
“ Since 85 per cent of the market potential in the segment is in small tubes , the ByTube Star 130 is equipped to process tubes with diameters of 10 to 130mm and raw material lengths of up to 8.5 metres ,” it told ISMR .
ByTube 130 automated laser cutting system reduces the need for manual interventions and is designed to ‘ make entry into tube processing particularly easy ’. The machine has a loading capacity of 17kg per metre and features the new ByVision Tube user interface . The 2D cutting head allows a large proportion of customer requests to be processed , since vertical cuts account for ‘ 90 per cent of the market ’, it continued . Bystronic combines all the functions relating to the laser cutting of tubes on a single touchscreen .
Bystronic ’ s FL 170 3D fibre laser cutting system has a wide range of applications for the cutting of steel , stainless steel , aluminium and non-ferrous metals in diameters from 12- to 168mm and workpiece lengths of up to 12.5m . Its FL 300 CO₂ laser cutting system offers minimal scoring . In addition to straight cutting edges , the 3D cutting head also enables bevel cuts of up to 45 degrees . This eliminates the need for costly milling , drilling , punching or sawing processes .
