“ The event will enable visitors to monitor industrial trends and emerging signs that will help them to anticipate industry transformations more effectively . Global Industrie facilitates the creation of partnerships or alliances , links between research and industry , good relations between customers and suppliers and meetings between talented young people and companies ,” added the organiser .
Launched in 2021 , eight channels in the GI Channels programme enabled hybridisation of the event , where it was possible for visitors and exhibitors to participate both physically and digitally via the live broadcasting of highlights , conferences , feedback , first-hand accounts etc .
“ This afforded an additional opportunity to do business , make video appointments with manufacturers unable to make the trip and promote activity more effectively . This initiative was very successful , with 40,000 views including 21,000 connections over the entire duration of the exhibition last year . There were video meetings on the MyGi portal and a range of channels broadcast live from the exhibition on the website . With these in mind , the hybrid physical / digital operation will be repeated in Paris in 2022 ,” explained GL Events .
Global Industrie will also be highlighting a new event which will identify and reward talent in all industrial professions , the Golden Tech challenge .
Value-add events
Two major initiatives are being held in the run-up to the event , GI 360 and GI Connections , to encourage further participation .
GI 360 is a bi-monthly panoramic industry news programme , with a virtual tour of the factory of the future , an overview of business conditions with France Industrie and a major debate on topical issues . GI Connections offers premium business and 100 % physical events held throughout the year , all over France , on various industrial themes .
During the exhibition itself , four major events will also be held for visitors to enjoy .
1 . Golden Tech 2022 : The Golden Tech challenge rewards those who excel in nine selected professions . “ It is a unique event to reward those who are the pride of our industry ,” GL Events told ISMR .
