The range of profiles and roll forming lines produced by PM SaS is very wide and is based on customer requirements . Preco ’ s RT1000 is designed for precision laser cutting small diameter tubes for medical devices such as surgical instruments , stents and other implantable devices . It incorporates a granite base , precision servo drives , rigid work-holding , fibre-delivered laser sources and Preco ’ s fine cutting head .
PLATINO ® is the general purpose 2D laser cutting machine by Prima Power which cuts a broad range of materials and thicknesses . Change-over to tube processing can be achieved with zero set-up time , said the Italian manufacturer . It is available in two sizes ( 1530 and 2040 ), and with laser powers ranging from 2500W to 5000W .
Platino Fiber Evo is now available with high brilliance , energy-efficient fibre lasers with 2- , 3- , 4- or 6kW power . The new fibre laser cutting head with adaptive collimator , designed and manufactured by Prima Power , is equipped with a single focus lens .
Tube bending machines , such as those designed by Schwarze-Robitec , enable very small radii to be bent , even for very large and thick-walled tubes . Multiple tools provide additional productivity in the bending process . By using stacked multiple tools with different nominal diameters , minimal machine set-up times are possible .

SVR Ltd . manufactures ventilation and chimney machines as well as systems for metal laser welding and the cutting of blanks and tubes based on fibre sources ( specifically developed for the requirements of HVAC and metal shop manufacturing ).
The t-cut tube cutting machines from mechanical engineering company Transfluid enables the use of orbital cutting technology for tubes with a diameter of up to 80mm ( for further details , see page 41 ).
Sheet metal specialist , TRUMPF , offers a range of tube cutting solutions such as the TruLaser Tube 3000 fiber , TruLaser Tube 5000 fiber , TruLaser Tube 5000 , TruLaser Tube 7000 fiber and TruLaser Tube 7000 .
“ With the Trulaser Tube 7000 fiber , the solid-state laser has a broad processing spectrum . Thanks to RapidCut , the high feed rates of the laser come into their own , even on smaller contours . It can cut tubes with a diameter of up to 254mm and wall thicknesses of up to 10mm for mild steel ,” TRUMPF told ISMR .
The bevel cutting option enables highquality bevel cuts of up to 45 °. TruLaser Tube 7000 fiber can also optionally take over further process steps , such as tapping threads .
Tracto-Technik offers its portfolio of TUBOBEND semi-automatic pipe bending machines . A pipe positioning unit with stoppers makes the operator ’ s work easier , as it allows exact fastening of the pipe ’ s length and rotational position between two bends . The new TUBOBEND line is optionally available as right-hand or left-hand benders . Unison designed and developed a full range of tube bending machines in 1989 . In 1993 / 4 , it designed a fully automated tube bending machine and , in 1995 , its first three ‘ all-electric ’ tube bending machines with 20mm , 40mm and 65mm tube capacity .
