Operating from three facilities in the USA , the Netherlands and China , the organisation supplies customers worldwide . A continuous focus on R & D and innovation to maintain efficiency and consistency in surface finishing has characterised the company over the years . A firm accent on energy efficiency and productivity marked its product offerings at last October ’ s EuroBLECH sheet-metal exhibition in Hanover , Germany . It also presented the latest version of its compact rotary brush machine , the 32 HWRB series , at the EuroBLECH exhibition .
It was , however , in brush selection and brush pressure that Timesavers ’ expertise came in handy . GEA Food Solutions is a specialist in packaging machines , among other things , but not in deburring operations .
“ We do a lot of single-piece operations and there is therefore a lot of variation . The question was whether we could still use the same settings as much as possible . The sheets we process are generally between 1-3mm thick . Sometimes we have 5mm workpieces . We normally only use brushes for finishing and , very occasionally , a pre-grinding belt . You only need the pre-grinding belt if you wish to remove a large burr but it is preferable not to use it as a grinding belt leaves marks [ on the material ]. For us , there is no debate : we want directionless ,” confirmed Van Haaften .

“ We registered a 70-million-euro order intake worldwide in 2022 . Our ‘ bread and butter ’ business is edge-rounding and deburring machines . We have such a wealth of process and application knowledge in these technologies . We place a strong focus on continuous innovation every year . At the Blechexpo trade fair in Stuttgart this year , for example , we will be introducing more new technologies for our machines ,” Paul Hartendorp , managing director of Timesavers International BV , told ISMR at the EuroBLECH trade fair last October .
“ We have set a new strategic path and are growing the company worldwide with acquisitions in the U . S ., as well as other global acquisitions . These will see the company grow to a turnover of between 150 and 200 million euros ( employing between 700-800 people ),” he added . n
