“ All sessions are 60-90 minutes in length , offering practical knowledge that can be used right away . The FABTECH Conference is customisable and built by visitors . The more sessions you select , the more you save . The full conference selection ( best value ) allows you to choose up to ten sessions based on your training needs ,” explained the conference organiser .
The American Welding Society ( AWS ) will present a comprehensive line-up of welding education . Led by industry professionals , programmes focus on best practices and new commercial developments in welding and thermal spray . Events include conferences , seminars , professional programme , society events and more .
U . S . individuals who attend AWS education programmes are awarded one PDH ( professional development hour ) for each hour of education programme attendance . Individuals seeking FMA Recertification Credits will be awarded two credits for each conference session attended ( forming & fabricating , cutting or finishing tracks ) plus an additional two credits for attending the show . Individuals who attend SME education programmes may be eligible to receive one credit per hour attended toward their SMEmanaged recertification requirements .

This year , FABTECH is also offering a series of free webinars that are open to anyone in the industry .
These mid-year and year-end webinars feature Dr . Chris Kuehl , Managing Director , Armada Corporate Intelligence . He provides forecasts and strategic guidance for a wide variety of corporate clients around the world and is the chief economist for several national and international organizations .
