Welding comfort
Swiss manufacturer Optrel joins welding helmet safety , performance and comfort with precisely engineered design .
“ For field of view and eye protection , our Panoramaxx series helmets offer allday comfort , with fully adjustable IsoFit ® headgear ,” it explained .
Optrel has introduced the Position Locker and new headgear features designed to take the Panoramaxx series of welding helmets and IsoFit ® to “ a new level in practicality and comfort ”, it told ISMR .
The Position Locker is a small , two-piece component which , said Optrel , plays a key role in enhanced helmet function and comfort .
“ With the Position Locker , any unintentional dropping of the visor is a thing of the past . Lock the visor closed for welding work or open it . The Position Locker keeps the helmet visor fixed upright ,” explained Optrel .
“ IsoFit ® headgear adjusts in width , length and height to fit the wearer ’ s head for individual comfort , even in extreme working positions . To optimise the headgear for wearability and durability , the IsoFit ® is now fitted with a front sweatband . Its wide comfort pads are improved for long-lasting and hard-wearing weight distribution , enhancing all-day comfort ,” it continued . The Position Locker and new IsoFit ® headgear features are now standard on all Panoramaxx series welding helmets .
