SafanDarley ’ s new model of Hybrid press brake , the H-Brake Hybrid + 230T Ultra .
RoboBend in Denmark has introduced its mobile robot cell for sheet metal bending .
“ It ’ s compatible with existing press brakes on the market and has easy-to-use software that ensures high capacity and high-quality bending , even for smaller batch orders ,” it told ISMR .
Rolleri SpA has produced a “ ROL200 ” clamp for press brake tool punches . The patented system enables pneumatic or manual vertical clamping for punches . Its new QuickLock-System , compatible with Rolleri tools Type R2 and its new ROL200 compatible with Rolleri tools type R1 , are the latest innovations developed and manufactured in its production facilities . Its Vario , the patented die of variable “ V ”, is a tool on the press brake bench that varies the openings of the die through the CNC or through a manual system . The family-owned company ( Francesco and Marco Rolleri ) is one of the largest press brake tooling manufacturers in Europe .
Rolla-V supplies a comprehensive range of press brake tools , as well as the patented Rolla-V .
Dutch bending specialist , SafanDarley , has added the E-Brake C 200T Ultra with Tool Mate to its press brake range . The servo-electric E-Brake C with 200-ton pressing force and a bending length of 4300mm , is built with a C-frame to enable automatic tool change .
“ The Tool Mate is an external automatic tool changer and offers great time savings when producing small batches ,” SafanDarley explained .
SafanDarley has two production plants , a head office in Lochem and a branch in Eijsden ( The Netherlands ). Its E-Brake Mini Cell is a fully automated electric modular system for producing small complex products .
“ With the optional automatic tool and gripper change system , it is possible to quickly change between different products . The Mini Cell can be equipped with a pallet dispenser to automatically load new pallets and remove finished products . Programs for the E-Brake Mini Cell can be prepared offline
with Robobend offline simulation software . All movements are accurately simulated and programmed in advance ,” said the manufacturer .
At the recent LAMIERA sheet metal show in Milan , Italy , SafanDarley also showcased a new model of Hybrid pressbrake , the H-Brake Hybrid + 230T Ultra , with higher tonnages . The H-Brake 230T + was equipped with an E-Bend L blue angle measurement system .
Its AutoPOL offline bending simulation software is a modern 3D system for programming press brakes offline and unfolding 3D CAD files . With the optional Batch & Remote functionality , users can automatically program multiple single 3D files ( significantly reducing programming costs ). AutoPOL will identify and program the sheet metal parts for production . A second new feature is the offline programming of the E-Bend L angle measurement system in AutoPOL .
The H-Brake Hybrid 110T-1600 has a very high tonnage density on a short working length . This compact machine is suitable for bending shorter complex parts in thicker materials . Its R-Brake 130T features a pressbrake and robot integrated into one system with fully automated tool and gripper change .
ATA is a proprietary Salvagnini solution that automatically adjusts the length of the bending tools of the Salvagnini B3 press brake to the part being processed .
“ The ATA is available on many of the models in our range of press brakes and can be configured according to the customer ’ s specific production needs : it can be used only for the upper tools , can be integrated with the MVM ( the variable opening die up to 51mm which automatically adapts the V opening ) or can be used on the upper and lower tools . It can also interact with the automatic AU-TO tool changer ,” said Salvagnini .
To combat the global shortage of expert pressbrake operators , Salvagnini offers its Streamformer CAM TRUMPF TruBend Cell 7000 . software . Around 65 % of its B3 press brakes and practically 100 % of the press brakes with ATA automation are supplied with this software . Streamformer integrates the pressbrake in a complete process because it is part of Stream , the integrated programming suite for Salvagnini systems .
ROBOformER is Salvagnini ’ s automatic press-brake cell run by a single controller and a single program .
Italian manufacturer Schiavi has several bending products . Its BSTs range has been designed for simple and rapid bending . Equipped with four axes ( Y1 , Y2 , X , R ), BSTs models range from 500kN ( 1.2 metres ) to 1250kN ( 4 metres ).
The HFBs press brake is for large-scale production . It features the ATLAS Pro CNC controller with new functionality for the “ Internet of Things ” ( Industry 4.0 ). The Schiavi TXP automated tool-change system is also integrated .
The Schiavi HFBx press brake is its most advanced model in automated bending processes , characterised by a large stroke ( 500mm ) and span ( up to 1000mm ) between the tables . The wide span between the tables makes the production of large-sized boxed sections possible while maintaining high processing speed . It is particularly suitable for robotic solutions .
The smart tool shuttle ensures quick tool set-up , with two axes to handle clamps , punches and dies handling . The ToolExpress TXP guarantees quick set-up of the machine without programming , alongside expandable tool storage ( from 32 to 50 metres ).
STEP Automation specialises in numeric control for press brakes and shears . Its new generation ROCK NC series is for programming and controlling press brakes . The software provides features for Industry 4.0 such as scheduled maintenance management , production management and easy integration with corporate ERP .
