The HRB-ATC is equipped with an automatic tool changer for AMADA AFH-ATC tools with the same capacity as the high-end HG-ATC model . The new machine is supplied with an individually configured tool package with original AMADA tools . The ATC can reportedly reduce set-up times by up to 80 %.

AMADA offers press brake products such as HG Series , HG-1003ATC , HRB-ATC , HD- NT Series and EG Series . Product Designer software can unfold 3D sheet metal models and automatically apply unfolding data and feature recognition ready for manufacture . Its EG series electric press brake incorporates AMADA ’ s patented dual servo technology . Its HFE 3i , HG ATC and HG ARs press brake series encompass most bending scenarios from a manually based scenario to a fully automated , robot-supported production cell .
The open height of the frame of the HFE- 5012M2 press brake ( for bending small parts with medium complexity ) has been increased , enabling deeper box bending . AMADA ’ s FAST ( Finger with Active Security Technology ) stop fingers can be fitted onto most new AMADA bending machines . The manufacturer also offers VPSS 3i software , which can simulate all processing operations at once .
Its EG-6013AR bending cell features a robot with five automatic grippers and tool changer for fully automated production processes . The additional grippers enable handling of larger blanks . The tool selection has also been enlarged : dies with opening widths from 6 to 32mm are now available . The active angle measurement system has also been adapted to the process enhancement .
Turkish manufacturer Baykal ’ s APHS range of press brakes is highly versatile ( Performer , Pro and Premium series ). It has pioneered development of a fully automatic pole cutting and bending machine and , for its manufacturing operations , utilises three factories which together combine a production area of 70,000 square metres , making it one of Europe ’ s largest facilities for sheet metalworking and fabricating machinery .
Blech-Tec GmbH manufactures mini bending machines . The BT-500 is a folding machine and press brake in one . Combining both bending processes offers flexibility , as both processes have their geometric advantages . The BT- 150 is designed as a table machine for even smaller parts .
Boschert GmbH has produced a dynamic hybrid-drive press brake , the Quick-Bend , with purported energy savings of up to 80 %. Quick and nearly silent , the Quick-Bend only uses electrical energy during the bending process . Based on its PROFI 28 CNC and PROFI 56 CNC press brake series , with bending lengths ranging from 1000 - 2200mm , the designers developed a press brake with an electrichydraulic hybrid drive , characterised by a combined E-motor and pump unit . The bending speed range is 8 -10mm/ s and repeatability is +/ - 0.02mm . Other Boschert models include the G-Bend , G-Master and G-HD hydraulic press brakes .

“ It is now more versatile for an even wider range of applications . It is 30 % faster than conventional bending – and even 50 % faster with the new ‘ Efficiency Booster ’ option . This is an optional feature that ensures fast return of the upper beam , speeding up the bending process ,” the Swiss sheet metal specialist told ISMR .
The machine ’ s main drive is only active when the machine is in operation . This is the logic of the “ Energy Saver ” that reduces the power consumption of the machine while also boosting productivity as well as minimizing noise and waste heat . One of the flexibilityenhancing features is the insert and stroke length expansion which extends the insert height for bending tools from 480 to 580mm .

brake offers rapid bending speeds . This small press brake has already won a German design award and is designed for rapid , efficient parts production . A new Mobile Bending Robot is available for feeding the Xpert 40 , turning it into a compact , automated bending cell for producing 3D sheet metal components . The press brake also features new optical tool detection .
Bystronic ’ s Xpert Pro press brake has now been equipped with the LAMS 4.1 angle measurement system ’ s springback compensation for bending sheet metal . Corrections relating to the sheet metal that is being processed can be stored and transferred to other machines , even those that are not equipped with LAMS . The Modular Tool- Changer is an automation solution for the Xpert Pro press brake designed to increase the productivity of the bending process “ by up to 30 per cent .”
The Xpress press brake features the ByVision Bending user interface and ByMotion drive control . It is available in 50 , 80 , 100 and 160 models with respective press forces ranging from 50 to 160 metric tons and bending lengths from 1050 to 3100mm . Options such as a mechanical crowning system that automatically compensates for deformations of the material and lower beam can be configured if required .
Bystronic also introduced its ByCockpit app that monitors , in real-time , all processes in its laser cutting , press brake and waterjet cutting machines .
CoastOne Oy from Finland manufactures servo-electric press brakes with spindle drive , including controlled crowning , robot solutions for electric press brakes , electric threading machines and electric inserter machines with spindle drive . Its electric press brakes include the C , G and BULL series . The C-Series pressbrakes are for bending smaller parts .
