CLOOS appoints Doug Zoller

Doug Zoller took over the management of CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc . in the USA and Mexico at the end of June 2022 . He replaces Hartmut Boegel , who retired from the company on 30 June 2022 after more than 40 years of service .

CLOOS Robotic Welding Inc . was founded in 1985 as a subsidiary of the CLOOS Group . From locations in Schaumburg , Illinois , and Monterrey , Mexico , CLOOS Robotic Welding offers customer-specific , turnkey welding solutions for the U . S . and Mexican markets .
The welding engineer and MBA has extensive expertise in welding and automation technology as well as many years of leadership experience in technology , project management and sales . Most recently , he held various senior positions at welding equipment manufacturer , ESAB .

125 years for Schuler Erfurt
Press specialist Schuler ’ s Erfurt site is celebrating a key anniversary : 125 years ago , businessman Henry Pels started selling machine tools there . This was followed in 1899 by construction of the new factory at Schwerborner Strasse , where Schuler ’ s central production plant in Europe is still based .
The press manufacturer celebrated its birthday with a large summer party . It all started in 1897 with machine tool distribution . Today , Schuler ’ s central production plant for presses in Europe is in eastern Germany . n
