Turkish manufacturer Baykal ’ s APHS range of press brakes is highly versatile . It has pioneered development of a fully automatic pole cutting and bending machine and boasts one of Europe ’ s largest facilities for sheetmetal working and fabricating machinery .
Blech-Tec GmbH BT-500 .
Blech-Tec GmbH produces mini bending machines . The BT-500 is a folding machine and press brake in one . Combining both bending processes offers flexibility , as both processes have their geometric advantages . The BT-150 is designed as a table machine for even smaller parts .
Boschert GmbH has produced a dynamic hybrid-drive press brake , the Quick-Bend , with purported energy savings of up to 80 %. Quick and nearly silent , the Quick-Bend only uses electrical energy during the bending process . Based on the PROFI 28 CNC and PROFI 56 CNC press brake series , with bending lengths ranging from 1000 - 2200mm , the designers developed a press brake with an innovative electric-hydraulic hybrid drive , characterised by a combined E-motor and pump unit . The bending speed range is 8 - 10mm / s and repeatability is +/ - 0.02mm .
Swiss manufacturer , Bystronic , has enjoyed success with its Xpert 40-tonne , one-metre ‘ plug and play ’ press brake with rapid bending speeds . This small press brake has already won a German design award and is designed for rapid , efficient parts production . A new Mobile Bending Robot is available for feeding the Xpert 40 , turning it into a compact , automated bending cell for producing 3D sheet metal components . The automation module is wheeled in front of the press brake and simply interfaced to it in a plug-and-play arrangement . In minutes , users can set up the robotics and load sheet metal blanks for bending . Programming is carried out offline and ByVision Bending software allows data to be imported without interrupting the job currently in progress .
Bystronic ’ s Xpert Pro press brake has now been equipped with the LAMS 4.1 angle measurement system ’ s springback compensation for bending sheet metal . The LAMS angle measurement system compensates for any deviations in sheet thickness . In addition to sheet thickness fluctuations , the system also automatically compensates for springback and rolling direction variations . Corrections relating to the sheet metal that is being processed can be stored and transferred to other machines - even those that are not equipped with LAMS . This means that all other Bystronic press brakes in operation within a company also benefit from this function .
Bystronic ’ s Xpert 40 press brake also now features new optical tool detection . Cameras recognize the data matrix codes on the tools and sound an alarm if any deviances are detected . This results , says Bystronic , in reduced set-up time and improved process quality because ‘ the right tool is always in the right position ’. The Xpert 40 is a compact press brake designed for cost-effective small parts production and simple operation .
Bystronic has introduced a new app that monitors , in real-time , all processes taking place within its laser cutting machines , press brakes and water jet cutting machines . Called ByCockpit , the software fits neatly with the digital networking requirements of Industry 4.0 . It evaluates the collected data and generates status reports , allowing factory output to be optimised . Bystronic and Lantek are also developing an MES software solution for sheet metal part production . The Bystronic MES interlinks all the manufacturing steps and guides sheet metal products on a suitable path through the production process , much like an intelligent navigation system .

CoastOne Oy from Finland manufactures servo-electric press brakes with spindle drive , including controlled crowning , robot solutions for electric press brakes , electric threading machines and electric inserter machines with spindle drive . Its electric press brakes include the C , G and BULL series .
CINCINNATI Inc . is headquartered in the U . S . and offers press brakes such as HYFORM series press brake , MAXFORM series press brake , AUTOFORM + series press brake and Proform + series press brake .
At LAMIERA 2017 in Milan , Colgar highlighted one of its installations for tandem press brakes installed by FIDA G , what it dubbed ‘ the longest tandem system in Europe mainly dedicated to the production of telescopic arms ’. The total bending length is 21 metres using a tandem press brake ( one with 14m length and one with 7m length ) and a total installed power of 3,600 tons and concentrated charge of 500 tons / metre .
CYBELEC SA offers touch-screen numerical controls for synchronised press brakes with the same user-friendly HMI : VisiTouch 19MX and 19 for importing , programming and bending .
Turkish manufacturer , Ermaksan , has been continuously improving and adding to its portfolio of products . Its green FX Servo press brake uses electric technology for low energy consumption ( approximately 50 % lower , compared to hydraulic press brakes ). With a 4-axis back gauge , full-length bends can be made between side columns , with no obstructions , and the machine is almost silent in operation . Sliding front support arms assist the operator for easier material handling .
Other Ermaksan press brake models include the Evolution III ( hybrid ), Speed-Bend Pro , the Power-Bend Pro , the Power-Bend Seater , the Micro-Bend , the Eco-Bend Expert and the Heavy-Duty press brake ( featuring a hydrodynamic hybrid crowning system , 6-axis servo motor back-gauge system and special top and bottom tools ).
Eurostamp Tooling has been manufacturing and selling press brake tooling and equipment since 1970 .

Fiessler Elektronik GmbH & Co . KG has cited its AKAS 3P as ‘ the first co-moving press brake safety system worldwide which provides high-speed operation up to the clamp point ’. By using the new press brake safety system , it is now possible to operate and close a press brake at high speed to the clamp point . In addition , the new AKAS ® 3P-CNC features a connection between the CNC control of the press brake and the fully automatic electromotive support of the
