The 21st Metalloobrabotka trade show , which took place in Moscow from 24-28 May 2021 , attracted a reported 790 exhibiting companies .

Metalloobrabotka , the largest trade show of global machine tool industry and metalworking technology in Eastern Europe and the CIS , was held from 24-28 May 2021 at the EXPOCENTRE in Moscow , Russia . It has brought together leading manufacturers , suppliers and dealers from around the world since 1984 . Today , it ranks among the world ’ s top ten leading machine tool trade shows .
“ The show ’ s professional visitors represent machine building ; defence ; aviation and aerospace ; heavy machine building ; rolling stock manufacturing ; oil and gas engineering ; shipbuilding ; metallurgy ; powerplant engineering ; industrial robotics and automation .
The 21st edition of the international exhibition for equipment , instruments and tools for the metalworking industry attracted major players in the global industrial market and showcased the latest technology developments from international manufacturers of machine tool products .
“ Newcomers and regular exhibitors – the largest Russian and global machine tool enterprises and their customers – took part in the exhibition ,” the show organiser , EXPOCENTRE AO , told ISMR .
under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry .
Despite the pandemic , said the show organiser , this year ’ s event ( held over an exhibition area of “ 32,000 square metres ) attracted 32,000 visitors and 790 exhibiting companies ( 212 overseas companies and 578 Russian companies )”. In all , thirty countries were represented at the event .
“ Overseas exhibitors included companies such as Galika AG ; Mitsubishi Electric Europe B . V .; Mazak ; Salvagnini Italia SpA ; AMADA ; Hermle WWE AG ; Horn ; Hoffman Professional Tools ; TRUMPF etc . Russian exhibitors included Sasta ; Laser Center ; STAN Group ; CNC-Tulamash ; Morsvyazavtomatica ; Kalashnikov Group , Stankoprom etc ,” added Expocentre AO .
Country pavilions at the event were taken by Belarus ; Czech Republic ; Germany and
Switzerland . Italian companies had a group pavilion at the event . Russian regional pavilions included representation from Kaluga ; Lipetsk ; Moscow ; Penza ; Samara ; Tver and Voronezh oblasts ; Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Krais .
Products on display covered all aspects of machine building and metalworking : newgeneration smart machine tools ; advanced equipment for metal processing and cutting ; tooling and components ; innovative engineering developments ; new software launches etc .
