Bougent ’ section which invites girls ( middle school , high school and university students ) to discover exciting jobs in industry and talk to “ godmothers ” and representatives of the association . Walk-throughs will also be organised for teachers .
Golden Tech
“ Golden Tech is the place where visitors come to see those vying to become the future industrial elite . It is an opportunity for companies to meet special talents to recruit and for the public to marvel at their professional excellence or even envision taking part themselves in the future ,” explained the show organiser .
This last GI Avenir section will contain areas providing support for students and job applicants with coaching sessions and job dating to meet HR managers from companies that are recruiting etc .
Golden Tech promotes the attractiveness and diversity of jobs in industry through a competition offering an overall vision of industry . For four days , some one hundred of the men and women who are forging today ’ s industry will compete in 16 rings , representing 16 professions and skills . They will be evaluated on their dexterity and technical skills .
To link these different professions , the competition topics will focus on the theme
of industry and sport to show how industrial excellence serves sporting excellence . In a unique tour , visitors will be given an overview of industry via the various “ rings ” organised according to industrial logic ( from design to production management and logistics by way of production and control plus robotics / automation ).
Three professions featured for the first time in 2024 will be lathe operators , mechatronics and cybersecurity managers . After seeing the demonstrations , visitors will be able to participate in a friendly competition using an augmented reality game . For further information , see www . goldentech . fr
The Big Stage and GI shows
Numerous discussion areas will provide opportunities for information , exchange and technology monitoring . The Big Stage , between the two exhibition halls , will address key industrial themes and host well-known industry personalities . These include current and future-oriented themes ( reindustrialisation ; Industry 4.0 ; green industry ; recruitment ; financing ; carbon reductions etc .) via debates , knowledge sharing and best practices etc .
Big Stage presentations / activity will be simultaneously translated into English and accessible via the MyGi application or on the trade show website .
