Global Industrie will once again take place at Eurexpo in Lyon , from 7-10 March 2023 , as a global showcase for industrial innovation with more new developments and solutions . The event is under the patronage of the French President , Emmanuel Macron , and plays host to several ministers , elected officials , ambassadors and representatives of the largest European professional organisations in the world of industry .
“ Global Industrie brings together all industry players in one place . Divided into 26 zones , specialising in fields such as digitalisation and automation ; electronics ; additive manufacturing & 3D printing ; measurement ; robotics ; energy and sustainable development ( to name a few ), our 2,300 exhibitors can be relied on to be at this large international gathering ,” the show organiser commented .
“ Global Industrie will be honoured to host not only the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Seine-et-Marne and CCI France Internationale ( Union of French CCIs abroad ) but also the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Pavilion ; Aveiro Regional Industrial Association ( Portugal ) and AIMMAP ( Associação Dos Industriais Metalúrgicos Metalomecânicos E Afins De Portugal ),” it added .

Meeting new challenges
This year , Global Industrie expects to welcome 2300 exhibitors and an expected 40,000 visitors from 85 countries . Previous editions of the show have been held in even years

The Global Industrie awards will honour new exhibitor innovations . The show ’ s priority in 2023 , the organiser told ISMR , will be “ to provide concrete answers to the contemporary needs of its players .” Concrete solutions could include innovations developed by companies ’ new ideas from overseas or aid and support schemes offered by the state and local authorities ( whether reshoring ; job creation ; the environmental transition ; regions or industry appeal to young people ).
