Awards at Blechexpo / Schweisstec 2023
A special highlight at the 16th Blechexpo ( international trade fair for sheet metalworking ) and the 9th Schweisstec ( international trade fair for joining technology ), from 7-10 November 2023 in Stuttgart , Germany , will be the presentation of the “ Best Award 2023 ” for outstanding innovation . The deadline for submitting entries is 31 May 2023 .
Trade fair promoter Schall is organising these awards for the sixth time with trade journals Blechnet and MM Maschinenmarkt . All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by an expert jury with members from industry , associations , research institutes and the trade press . Technical award categories include :
■ Sheet metal , pipe and profile processing .
■ Stamping technology .
■ Cutting , joining and fastening technologies .
■ Pressing and forming technology .
■ Steel / metal services and surfacefinishing technology . the Exhibitor Forum on 8 November 2023 . Winners will also be celebrated by the vibrant industry community on social media ,” added P . E . Schall .

Sheet metal , pipe and profile processing will be the thematic focus in halls 1 , 3 , 5 and 9 . Halls 4 and 6 will be devoted to stamping technology . Steel and metal services , as well as surface finishing technology , will be presented in hall 10 .
Blechexpo / Schweisstec covers the entire process sequence for sheet metalworking . The line-up includes efficient process technologies for modern laser technology ; fully automated robotic sheet-metal processing machines ; precision tools and systems for punching ; bending ; braking and forming as well as innovative micro-waterjet cutting technologies .
System peripherals , including controllers and software , as well as solutions for handling and quality assurance are also covered .
