Boschert ’ s general manager , Manuel Lang , outlined its latest plans , initiatives
and technology developments to ISMR .

Boschert GmbH & Co KG , founded in 1946 by Ludwig Boschert as a small workshop for the textile industry , builds notching ; punching ; bending ; plasma ; laser and copper processing machines . It established its international reputation in the sheetmetal working industry through its notching and punching machine portfolio . Today , around 20,000 of its notching machines are in use around the world .
However , it is the continuous development and integration of new ideas and pragmatic values that made Boschert the worldwide patent-holder of the folding joint . The manufacturer , based in Germany ’ s Black Forest , has also set new standards in safety chuck techniques . Quality , accuracy and strong production values are part of its sheet metal heritage .
Fifteen years ago , Boschert established a joint venture company in a new factory in Greece with Gizelis SA . Together , both companies offered a new production range of press brakes and shears to the market . After acquiring a further holding in 2016 in French company AMB Picot , a specialist in roll bending machines based on the three-roll principle , Boschert has further extended its range of products and services .

It is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary in the industry .
