Robotic plasma cutting system
Hypertherm Associates and its partner , Daihen Corporation , took part in the International Robot Exhibition 2023 in Japan recently , one of the world ’ s largest robot exhibitions . The theme of the exhibition was “ Sustainable Societies Through Robotics ”, featuring solutions that support sustainable development goals through the coexistence and cooperation of humans and robots . During the event , the latest robots and robot-related
technology ( such as AI , ICT and component technology ) was on display .
Daihen Corporation exhibited its robotic plasma cutting solution at the exhibition . The new Daihen system is equipped with dedicated commands that set cutting parameters and conduct piercing sequences automatically . These are designed to make the system easy to use and maximize consumable life .
“ Because of the height-sensor capability that maintains height between torch and workpiece , the system produces high-quality cuts ,” confirmed Hypertherm Associates .
