Fissler has put sustainability at the heart of its philosophy since the family-owned company was founded in Germany in 1845 . That means sustainability in manufacturing and long life for products , as its stainless-steel pots are often passed from generation to generation .
Its factory in Idar-Oberstein ( Rhineland- Palatinate , Germany ) produces over one million items of cookware each year .
