Bystronic ’ s new ByTube Star 130 tube laser cutting system handles metallic materials from 10 to 130mm and raw material lengths of up to 8.5 metres . The automated system reduces manual intervention to a minimum and has a loading capacity of up to 17kg per metre .
“ Available in two power levels , two or three kilowatts , the fibre laser unit of the ByTube Star 130 offers high energy efficiency as well as consistently even cutting quality . With its 2D cutting head , 90 per cent of all customer requests can be fulfilled , since vertical cuts make up the largest market share ,” Bystronic told ISMR . Additional options can be configured individually .
Automatic weld seam detection enables automatic alignment of the weld seam to the required position . With Laserscan , the function independently recognizes and compensates for geometric deviations in tubes , to ensure the accuracy of cutting processes regardless of raw material quality . With the ByVision Tube operating system , users progress from receiving orders to delivering finished parts .
Bystronic also provides the ByTube Star 130 laser cutting system in a design with a ‘ mirrored ’ configuration upon request . This enables users to select the best layout for their individual production flow .
Our 15kW XXL laser cutting systems in the ByStar Fiber family were extremely well received by the market . In terms of software , we launched our own BySoft CAM software . Modern sheet metal production is no longer conceivable without powerful software . BySoft CAM offers a comprehensive range of functions and yet is easy to use . Our customers can , with BySoft CAM , always maintain an overview of their production and complete orders quickly , cost-effectively and reliably .
We are also working on the expansion of our after-sales service and will continue refining our service offering next year .
