ISMR : What are your views on the current global business climate for sheet metal professionals ? What about the climate in 2022 ?
MK : The market will clearly move towards digitalisation in our industry . Increased efficiency and quality , increased production speed and precision can only be achieved by automating manufacturing . In laser cutting machines , there is a trend towards more laser power which is why our R & D initiatives are also moving in this direction . Customers also want automation in the bending process . For all this , we need powerful software solutions that coordinate and optimise these processes . Digitalisation is , therefore , a powerful force in our industry .
