TEVVA looks for engineers
EVera Recruitment has been tasked by TEVVA to identify and recruit dozens of engineers across a range of key disciplines , including manufacturing , quality and maintenance as TEVVA prepares to begin UK manufacturing of its e-Trucks in July 2022 .

VDW elects new Chairman
Franz-Xaver Bernhard has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman by the Executive Board of the VDW ( German Machine Tool Builders ’ Association ) and the Machine Tool and
Franz-Xaver Bernhard .
Manufacturing Systems Association within the VDMA . He will succeed Dr . Heinz-Jürgen Prokop on 1 January 2022 . Bernhard has been involved in the VDW since 2001 , initially as a member of the Economic Committee . In 2003 , he was made Chairman of the Committee and has been a member of the VDW Board since 2013 .
“ I am more than pleased by the trust which has been placed in me and look forward to my future tasks on the VDW Board ,” Bernhard commented . “ The machine tool industry is going through difficult times . Although orders are now coming through again in greater numbers , the supply bottlenecks are preventing orders from being delivered in many cases . At times like these , it is important to point out and explain to business partners and the public why a medium-sized industry like ours has its hands tied .” n
