UK manufacturer, Hornsey Steel Panels and Sections, has significantly increased its productivity by expanding its manufacturing capabilities, purchasing new folding and cutting equipment, and diversifying its product range.
“ With a new facility and equipment, including modern equipment from CIDAN Machinery Group, Hornsey Steel Panels and Sections has already increased its operational efficiency by 25 %. The company’ s turnover is set to increase significantly this year.
For over 50 years, Hornsey Steel Panels and Sections Ltd has considered itself a cornerstone of quality and reliability in the roofing and cladding industry. Based in the idyllic village of Bucknell, nestled in the Shropshire countryside, this family-run British business has built a strong reputation in the industry.
Founded in the heart of rural England, Hornsey Steel has grown to employ 34 staff members while remaining deeply connected to its roots.“ We’ ve come a long way in those 50 years,” said company director, Samuel Hornsey.“ But we haven’ t forgotten our roots— they anchor us and provide the strong foundations upon which we continue to build.”
The company, in its current form, was founded in 1992, specialising in metal roofing panels and structural steel products. Samuel Hornsey took over as company director when his father, Mark, stepped down in 2014.
