At Dach & Holz in March this year , Jorns presented the Jorns JDB-150GHM-DP-SE- 1250-JC100-6.4-dsp double bending folder , equipped with automated side-infeed system as well as the new JC100 control which offers a direct interface to the “ Bendex Enterprise Suite ” from MicroSea . In addition , Jorns and Krasser offer a direct interface whereby the required pre-cut blanks can be exported to the cutting and slitting line from Krasser .
After celebrating 150 years of trading in 2022 , UK-based Morgan Rushworth offers a range of manual , hydraulic and CNC folders . Its HBP hydraulic box and pan folder uses an adjustable manual angle-setting device . Clamping and bending is controlled by a joystick or foot pedal or combination of the two , allowing easy positioning of the material for folding . It also offers a manual BPC Box and Pan as well as powered and hydraulic section benders .
Its EXR range of CNC folders are manufactured with a rotating upper beam with one straight rail and one set of high divided tools that can both be utilised in the same folding program without any manual tool change . The back gauge is integral to the rear support table , which is suitable for the folding of large sheets as the weight of the material is supported , resulting in a traditionally twooperator job being able to be performed with just one . Three models are available .
The ESR range of CNC folders are designed to produce fast , accurate and consistent folded parts . Available from 1.5m to 4.2m bending lengths , all models are supplied with a 1m powered back gauge , with optional longer back gauges ( including U- and L-shaped configurations ). All ESR models are supplied with a straight rail with optional high divided tools for box and panel-type operations .

PROfirst has been creating software for sheet metal processing since 1987 . Its 3D STEP-UNFOLD ( STEP and IGES unfolder ) software imports 3D files and unfolds to DXF . It enables manufacturers to design sheet metal parts . Its PROfirst CAD software can free up cutting contours in customer drawings , find open contours and close them automatically or smooth contours with its “ KEEP ” function .
RAS Systems manufactures semiautomated and fully automated folding machines for companies looking to maximise automation . RAS in Germany was founded in 1930 and builds metal bending , cutting and forming equipment , as well as a range of software ( such as Bendex fabrication software ). RAS Systems LLC was founded in 1992 near Atlanta , Georgia ( USA ). It showcased its MEGAbend folder at Blechexpo in Stuttgart last November .

It offers a wide range of almost thirty folding systems , including the Multibend-Center ( and ECO version ) as well as the MiniBendCenter ( automatic folding centre for small parts ), two UpDownCenter models and XXL / XL Centers for folding longer parts . Other models include the GIGAbend ; XLTbend ; FLEXIbend / FLEXI2bend ; TURBO2plus and TURBObend ( for wall and roof profile bending ).
For flexible and automatic profile bends ( such as door frames , elevator parts or cable ducts in batch size one ), it offers the ProfileCenter . The FlexGripper handling system moves , rotates and flips the blank automatically during the bending process .
Schechtl ( Edling , Germany ) began as a blacksmith shop , run by Josef Schechtl , in 1910 . Twenty-two years later , it produced its first folding machine . Today , it manufactures shears and folders for sheet metal , working with various distributors throughout the world .
It offers seven motorised swivel bending machines and 11 manual swivel bending machines , in a wide variety of designs and control types , for folding sheet metal . It also manufactures segment and shingle bending systems along with shears and profilers .
