The LAMIERA sheet metal exhibition returns to Milan , Italy , from 18-21 May 2022 .

LAMIERA 2022 , the international exhibition dedicated to the industry of sheet-metal forming machine tools and innovative technologies , will take place at Fieramilano Rho in Milan ( Italy ) from 18-21 May 2022 . It will be followed by the Milan Furniture Fair ( Salone del Mobile ), which will be held in June .
Promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE ( the Italian machine tools , robots and automation systems manufacturers ’ association ) and organised by CEU-CENTRO ESPOSIZIONI UCIMU , LAMIERA has already received over 300 applications to exhibit . It will be the third edition of the show to be held in Milan .
The 21st edition of the trade fair aspires to repeat the success of the two previous editions held in the same venue , which saw the biennial event continuously grow ( in terms of technologies on show , exhibition area , exhibiting companies and visitors ).
Innovation areas
The Italian government has set up special fiscal incentives , which consist of tax credits up to 50 %, for Italian companies investing in new machine tools ; robots ; automation systems ; Industry 4.0 and digital technologies . It has now extended the Industry 4.0 implementation incentives which will remain in force over 2022 . This is , said the show
organiser , “ a great business opportunity for all exhibitors that will meet end-users at the next edition of LAMIERA .”
“ The return to an exhibition experience over the last few months ,” stated Alfredo Mariotti , general manager of UCIMU- SISTEMI PER PRODURRE , “ confirms the importance and the high value of trade shows . To see machinery first-hand and meet partners and customers in person are wishes shared by all operators in this sector . We are working intensively to offer a trade fair rich in novelties , technological innovations and side initiatives and we believe that it will be a success .”
Several Innovation Areas will be open to visitors during the trade show , as listed below :
■ Fabbricafutura is dedicated to software and technologies for connectivity and data management ; analysis and security ; remote assistance and predictive maintenance ; energy efficiency and production process streamlining .
■ Box Consulting is a space for consultants , integrators and trainers and is dedicated to expertise , certification and professional education / training .
■ Fastener Industry is centred on screws , bolts , fastening and clamping systems .
■ EcoCoatech is dedicated to the world of industrial painting and coating and their treatments . Created in cooperation with ANVER , the Italian Association of Industrial Coaters , it will show innovative inter-operational processes for sheet metal painting and coating .
■ Blech Italy Service is reserved for technical subcontracting and services for the industry . This includes a parallel visit tour “ Make ” for manufacturers and “ Buy ” for suppliers of subcontracting and services and those who wish to purchase semi-finished products and outsourced work .
■ Saldatech is focused on the welding sector . Welding machines and equipment , robots and consumables will be exhibited .
“ Machines ; systems and equipment for the machining of sheet metal , tubes , sections , wire and metal structural work ; presses ; dies ; welding ; surface treatment and finishing ; tooling ; technical subcontracting and fasteners are just a few of the ‘ traditional ’ technologies on show . In addition , there will be a large and varied offering of robots ; automation ; control and quality systems ; metrology ; software ; micromachining ; additive technologies and solutions for the digital factory and energy / production efficiency ,” the show organiser told ISMR .
“ Wide product ranges will be on show , including stand-alone machines and complex production cells . LAMIERA 2022 will also offer several in-depth-analysis and entertainment initiatives to make the most of the presence of operators taking part in the event . For
