US $ 4.6m in new projects for Morris Sheet Metal
Alpine 4 Holdings , Inc ., an operator / owner of small market businesses , confirms that its subsidiary , Morris Sheet Metal ( MSM ) of Indiana , USA , has been awarded several new projects totalling US $ 4.6 million in the educational and healthcare facilities space .
Tom Laubhan , President of Morris Sheet Metal , commented : “ We are eager to begin these new projects as they serve to demonstrate how integral we are to the Indiana and Midwest region . I believe we were awarded these projects [ partly because of how ] we handled volatile market conditions in 2021 . Unprecedented inflation pushed the construction services market into a negative margin position on many projects due to material costs on items like steel , which rose to over 200 %.
Fronius UK to host fifth Open House on 18 / 19 May
Fronius UK will be opening the doors to its Technology Centre in Milton Keynes to unveil its latest welding technology as it hosts its fifth Open House on 18 / 19 May 2022 ( from 9:30am until 3:30pm on both days ). It has put together a wide variety of demonstrations across its range of products , solutions and applications and a programme of talks from specially selected guest speakers and industry partners .

Don ’ t miss Global Industrie 2022
For its fourth edition , following the success of its September edition in Lyon , Global Industrie returns to Paris Nord Villepinte in France from 17-20 May 2022 . Around 1,500 machines will be in operation on the exhibition floors and fifteen industrial sectors will be represented at the event .
“ Global Industrie is the only event in France to cover the whole of industry . It incorporates four complementary exhibitions : MIDEST ( industrial subcontracting ); SMART INDUSTRIES ( smart , efficient and digital industry ); INDUSTRIE ( manufacturing technologies and equipment ) and TOLEXPO ( solutions and equipment for sheet metalworking ). This year , it expects to welcome 2300 exhibitors and an expected 40,000 visitors from 85 countries .
The event is under the patronage of the French President , Emmanuel Macron , and hosts ministers , elected officials , ambassadors and representatives of major European professional industrial organisations . Launched in 2021 , eight channels in the GI Channels programme made it possible for visitors and exhibitors to participate in the event both physically and digitally .
During the exhibition itself , four major events will also be held for visitors to enjoy . The Golden Tech 2022 Challenge rewards those who excel in nine selected professions .
