New CEO / MD for the Reynaers Group
Dirk Bontridder joined the Reynaers Group as its CEO / Managing Director on 1 March 2021 and , after an induction period , will take up responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the family business ’ s strategy from 3 May 2021 . He brings more than 25 years of international management experience in various manufacturing and service sectors to Reynaers .
Under the leadership of Martine Reynaers , the Reynaers Group has grown into a leading international group of companies active in aluminium ( Reynaers Aluminium ) and steel ( Forster ) systems for the construction industry . THE BOARD of Directors of ArcelorMittal has announced that Aditya Mittal , currently President , CFO and CEO of ArcelorMittal Europe , will become Chief Executive Officer of the company . Lakshmi N . Mittal , who founded the company in 1976 and is currently Chairman and CEO , will become Executive Chairman . In this position , he will continue to lead the Board of Directors and work together with the CEO and management team .
Commenting , Lakshmi Mittal said : “ Despite the obvious challenges of 2020 , ArcelorMittal starts 2021 in a position of comparative strength . Having achieved some key strategic targets , this seems like the right moment to transition to Executive Chairman and the Board unanimously agree that Aditya Mittal is the natural and right choice to be the company ’ s Chief Executive . We have worked closely together since he joined the company in 1997 , indeed in recent years we have effectively been managing the company together .”
As a result of these developments , Genuino Christino will become Chief Financial Officer . Mr . Christino joined the company in 2003 and has held the position of Head of Finance since 2016 .

Baur to support transformation of BENTELER Group
Michael Baur was appointed as Chief Restructuring Officer ( CRO ) of the BENTELER Group with effect from 11 February 2021 . The experienced manager will strengthen the Executive Board of BENTELER International AG as its third member and will support the operational implementation of the restructuring process . Dr . Arno Haselhorst , who previously held the position of CRO , will leave the company .
During the next phase of the transformation , the focus will be on the operational implementation of the restructuring measures already in place . These primarily include initiatives to improve earnings , a focused product range and targeted investments in growth areas and core markets .
Michael Baur , Managing Partner of the consulting firm AlixPartners , is an experienced management consultant and manager specialising in financial and operational reorganisations and transformations . He has led numerous restructuring and performance improvement projects for mid-sized companies and large corporations .
