should be respected and honored wheth-
er it’s a civil marriage or church mar-
riage. But, there is something about
when we married in church that made it
even more special to our families and to
us. Having God present in our lives and
being married in church reminds us that
we will always have God to help us in
our times of need and our moments of
happiness in our marriage, our family,
and our lives.
IV: Favorite quote of inspiration?
Couple: “What lies behind us and what lies
before us are tiny matters compared to
what lies within us.” – Ralph Waldo
Emerson
Favorite person?
Too many! Not going to choose. LOL

soup
Mando: I’ll always be in love with Linda’s
Café Corned Beef Fried Rice
IV: Watch out Linda’s! Mando is coming to
town! LOL
IV: Tell us your partner’s favorite activity.
Lauren: Mando loves Off-roading and going
to the range
Mando: Lauren’s thing is going to the gym
and hiking
IV: Favorite islander activity?
Lauren: family gatherings, dancing
Mando: Since I’m still getting used to the
island, I just love relaxing on the beach
and meeting all the family and friends.
There is always a BBQ we’re going to.
IV: Favorite tourist site or spot on island?
Lauren: Tourist spot—Tumon bay; Spot on
the island—The family house in Ordot.
Too many memories.
Off island—While there are many places we
have yet to travel to, we love going to
Vegas. But the one that sticks with us
the most is Haleakala in Maui. The sun-
rises in the mountains are the best.
Couple: Compromise and communication is
where your efforts need to be focused.
No one is a mind reader. Relationships
are about celebrating each other, so
make sure you are ready to put someone
else’s needs before your own. Take care
of yourselves, each other, and always
support one another.
IV; Awesome! Thank you Mando & Lauren
for sharing your love story with us.
Wishing you many more happy &
blessed years together.
