Gluten free range so tasty
M
ottistone Farm Shop and
Twins Gluten Free are getting
organised for the Festival
season, and their Christmas selection will
be ready for sampling from November 21.
Twins Kathrine and Margaret have
been extremely busy in the last few
weeks settling into their new kitchens at
Mottistone Farm Shop and would like
to thank Tod and Jackie Carder, from
Mottistone Manor Farm for this fantastic
opportunity.
Mottistone Manor Farm have been
farming the surrounding countryside
for more than 20 years, their Aberdeen
Angus cattle are bred on the Island,
offering complete traceability, and all
beef is hung for up to 28 days. They also
supply home bred quality lamb and pork.
The Festive season is fast approaching
so you need to put your thinking hats
on – be organised so that they can be
organised! Anyone wishing to place an
order for beef, lamb, pork, Christmas
turkeys, gammon and delicious
homemade sausages should ring Jackie
on 07727 053846, visit Mottistone Farm
shop (01983 741560) or visit the weekly
Farmers’ Markets.
For Twins Gluten Free to be organised
and ready for Christmas, they would like
to invite you to sample their range of
gluten free fare from Friday November
21. There will be scrummy home baked
mince pies, fruity iced Christmas cakes,
quiches and pies, with sizes to meet your
individual requirements.
Use their savoury and sweet pastry to
bake your own festive goodies. Try their
Mummy’s Yummy Christmas pudding,
which reached the quarter finals in Food
Glorious Food competition, made from
a traditional family recipe updated to
gluten free and is absolutely delicious.
Personalised Hampers will be available
on request for both meat and gluten free
products.

The full range from Munch Bunch
W
hat started out as an idea soon became reality when
Mark and Debbie took the jump and started up their
own company, ‘Catering by Munch Bunch’.
When starting their business their aim was to use as much
Island produce as possible, served by polite and helpful
staff. Their first job was to work with Paul Murphy Butchers,
Shanklin, by using him as their meat supplier.
They decided they wanted a business that was flexible as well
as offering a range of services from a professional catering van
to event marquees, and seating to spit roasts.
They have made an impression this year by supporting
two local charities Oar-some (age concern and dementia) by
providing meals for them when they kayaked around the
Island. That was followed by supporting the Hampshire and
IOW Air Ambulance fun day at the Isle of Wight Airport by
donating the use of marquees, tables and chairs.
They are looking forward to the adventure of 2015; meeting
new customers and expanding on their use of Island products.
