very day at Ryde School is
a thought-provoking and
inspiring day. Each pupil,
from a three-year-old in the nursery
to an 18-year-old sixth former,
engages in activities and studies
across a very broad spectrum of the
educational curriculum, helping to
optimise their individual talents and
potential.
Ryde School’s academic excellence is
clear - proven by their strong A Level,
IB and GCSE results with six 2014
pupils being accepted at Oxbridge
and nearly 90 per cent of upper sixth
leavers going on to university. But it
is the breadth of education offered
around that solid academic core that
really sets Ryde School apart. Sailing,
the Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Scheme, the Combined Cadet Force,

Mandarin, Latin, Drama and Music
to name a few, allow children to grow
into educated and interested adults,
confident in their own abilities and
talents.
Ryde School believes financial
considerations should not be a
barrier to developing those talents
and therefore offer a number of
scholarships and assisted places
throughout the school to provide fee
assistance of up to 100 per cent for
children who would not otherwise
be able to attend.
The closing date for 2015 entry
scholarship and assisted place
applications is November 4, 2014.
