FOOD Food show a huge success The first Red Funnel Cowes Food Show was held at Town Quay, and was such a fantastic success that two more have already been planned before the end of the year. Visitors attending the show enjoyed a host of delicious local produce from across the Island; had the chance to take part in a cake baking competition and learn tips from expert Isle of Wight chefs at the Food Theatre. Tom Pell-Stevens, Red Funnel's Marketing Manager said: “We were delighted with the support we received from the local community, the producers and chefs which included award winning Robert Thompson from the Hambrough and Justin Brown from the Farringford. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, so much so we have confirmed we will be running two more Cowes Food Shows later this year!” The next two shows, which will be be themed around Halloween and Christmas will be on Sunday October 28 and Sunday December 9.
